Syndalia bags are made from faux leather. We chose this material because it is easier to care for and is environmentally friendly. Faux leather is the best way to have a fashionable looking and durable bag while refraining from harming innocent animals.
Syndalia is designed in Australia by Sylvia Appla, now the proud mother of two, following the realisation that mothers around the world were very limited in their selection of fine wares when out and about with their babies.
In 2007, when Sylvia had her first baby, she could not find a nappy bag that was both stylish and practical.
Sylvia found that the same excitement she had at the thought of heading out with her baby was equally matched by how daunted she felt to leave the house having forgotten something that her baby needed at home. It was from that concern that Sylvia purchased a selection of tote-type bags so that she could make her own nappy bags, incorporating all of the compartments that she felt she needed, along with ensuring that the integrity of her bag’s quality and style was maintained.

To estimate the total delivery time for immediately available items, please allow up to two business days from your order date to process your order for shipment, in addition to the time required for delivery to your location, as estimated below:
- METRO AREAS: 1-3 business days
- NON-METRO AREAS: 3-7 business days
- INTERNATIONAL (outside Australia): 5-10 business days
Metro Areas include: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth, Adelaide, Darwin, and Hobart.
Syndalia will send you a shipping confirmation email as soon as your purchase has been shipped, which will allow you to track your order’s status and the progress of your delivery.

If your nappy bag is faulty, we will refund or exchange the purchase price of the full-priced nappy bag in its original condition and only if accompanied by the original invoice, original Syndalia packaging, starter kit and labels intact and attached to the item. Syndalia will not refund or exchange because you have changed your mind.
Full-price merchandise must be returned to Syndalia within 14 days from the date of delivery only once a refund or exchange has been approved from the Syndalia customer service team.
Merchandise that has been used, altered or damaged will not be accepted.
Please note the original shipping charges incurred at the time of purchase are non-refundable. Refunds may only be issued in the same form as was utilized for payment.

Syndalia is dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information that we collect in relation to you is kept strictly secured.
We only use this information to identify your orders, provide you with our newsletters (if you have subscribed) and personalise your shopping experience with us. That is all. We do not pass on/sell/swap any of your personal details with anyone.
